Sounds too good to be true, Lords of the Fallen + Superhot for only €1.50.
They might add G2A Shield with the purchase or something, I can hardly believe that they would just give out those games for such a low price, and especially legitimately ?

Not just only Superhot devs are polish. CI Games, developers of Lords of the Fallen are polish as well. There's a pattern there.

G2A is a Chinese company, their English support department is based in Poland, that's all.

"G2A is Polish company with HQ in Hongkong "
Then it's a Chinese company. If I go to America and create a new business, it doesn't make it a British company because that's my nationality. The company is registered in China, it's a Chinese company.

You're missing a point. You didn't buy from G2A. You bought ON G2A from traders, who happened to be legit ones, while the site actively avoids giving clear information, forces a shield on you with claims that you need it (apparently without having it, they still help you out but it's not stated anywhere, just answered in their AMA). The shield's deactivation is so flimsy that they actively try to prevent you deactivating it. You can set your own country for taxation purposes (No proper site would trust users on their word, but using location data) but there is literally no difference between buying from a 0% tax location or a 25% tax location, just that the later bumps up the price you pay. For them, because if you can get away with paying no tax, then noone is monitoring if they pay taxes after the goods they are selling. Which again will mean, that if you pay the tax you should, you pay it for G2A that keeps it.
This is why G2A is "shady as fuck". Not because of the random people who sell their, but how they are treating their financials.

Because of EU (and maybe even US) laws they can not charge extra for something that they have to do anyways - laws allow you to have a complaint if the thing you bought is not working. G2A tells you that you need to pay to have that right. That's like your postman would ask you extra money from you to properly do his job and not randomly losing your letters.
They pose as it's a required safety net while it is not makes it into a scam - claiming that you NEED that shield to get any help while they help anyone - though slower - is holding back and twisting information from buyers to swing them towards spending more on non-required services.

It's different ; it's more like a loan-shark having tenants in a block of flats without proper papers, and praising the landlord because one of the tenants selling good hand-crafted items. It's the host of the traders that's fishy, the product itself it completely unreleated.

Regarding the price:
"Deal will cost €1.50, along with any applicable VAT and possible payment fees (depending on which payment method you choose). You can subscribe to or un-subscribe from G2A Deal at any time. On the other hand, if you just want to purchase Deal once, and check it out, it will cost you €2.50 (along with any applicable VAT and payment fees, as mentioned above)."

Deal will cost €1.50 You can subscribe to or un-subscribe from G2A Deal at any time.
if you just want to purchase Deal once it will cost you €2.50
Why should someone pay 2.5 if you can subscribe and unsubscribe at any time? :/
Comment has been collapsed.
"You can do that but please take into consideration that subscription will be only avaiable for recuring payments providers (CC, PayPal) and in future months subscribers may get additional benefits. You can’t subscribe for multiple months.
Price for the next month will be avaiable prior to charge so if you are a subscriber you will know how much the next Deal would cost. "

I'm really confused about G2A. I have heard a lot of bad stuff about the site however they have "Excellent" 9 out of 10 on trust pilot with 195,593 reviews. You would think if that site was that bad they would have below 5 stars right? Just honestly confused now because I usually look to trust pilot to show me which sites are legit and now I'm wondering if I shouldn't use trust pilot anymore..
Comment has been collapsed.
If they're anything like kinguin then i can explain this. I was scammed on kinguin. When i asked for my money back they refused to refund me. Then i wrote a review on trustpilot and opened a dispute on paypal. After that they changed their tone and not only refunded me but gave a bonus to my wallet and asked me to delete my review and close the dispute.

Isn't kinguin their competition? I would assume they would be different but you may be right since so many people have said bad things here. Just sad to know maybe I can't use trust pilot anymore since it makes scam sites seem legit. Now I'm worried cause I bought from G2A the first day I started using steam and don't want to lose my money getting keys revoked. :(

If things haven't changed since 2015 then:
Fast2Play, Kinguin and G2Play are sites which are all owned by a company called 7 Entertainment.
G2A are a separate entity.

Oh I didn't know that, my biggest thing is that there is so many positive reviews, I mean that is a lot of people. However I think I'll steer clear of G2A anyway to be safe.
Comment has been collapsed.
G2A does actively pester user to leave reviews.
Also despite all issues, site does have legit stuff, too and is good at solving problems. Most problems come from bad marketplace sellers and shady stuff they do (review, chargebacks, etc.). This is G2A's own deal (like preorders from site, AFAIK).

Paying the 1.5€ or 2.5€ you can only choose one game from the list?
Comment has been collapsed.
Either I'm misunderstanding you or you misunderstood the bundle. 1.5$ is for subscribing (buying this and the next and the next bundle etc) while 2.5$ is for buying only this bundle. I would assume the way they do it is by adding a 1$ fee to canceling the sub so if you don't cancel you only paid 1.5$ but canceling makes it cost 2.5$. You get all 5 games in both cases
Edit: on a second thought it probably isn't adding 1$ on canceling since you can cancel trough paypal directly but this is g2a we are talking about, they probably have some way of tricking you especially since this bundle sounds too good to be true.

I'm not really complaining. I'm just pointing out that out of the 5 games, 3 were already offered for free. I already have Dirt 3 and I'm not interested in Superhot (probably going to make a giveaway for it), but I don't have my hopes up for this G2A Deal thing because those games were free.
Comment has been collapsed.
had they announced those first no-one would have been interested enough to check back
Comment has been collapsed.
Only paying for SuperHot, anyway is the best deal arond there, i already got all the other games, so GA are coming.
Comment has been collapsed.
Skeptical, but I'm willing to try. E1.50 for Superhot is super tempting.

According to their replies:
"You can subscribe to or un-subscribe from G2A Deal at any time."
...
"You can’t subscribe for multiple months.
Price for the next month will be avaiable prior to charge so if you are a subscriber you will know how much the next Deal would cost."
I guess we'll see how much of this is real and how much is BS.
Comment has been collapsed.
Subscribing for 1.5€ adds a recurring payment to your PayPal account. I think they hope people will forget about it and even if they're not interested in the deal anymore they will be charged due to forgetting about it. But that's just my guess.
Comment has been collapsed.
if i buy it i'll be unsubing with paypal right after activating my codes, we'll see if there is a problem
Comment has been collapsed.
Yep, that's the tricky bit. I hope they'll provide clear warnings and ample time to unsubscribe.

You won't see me defending their Shield crap. As a marketplace of uncheckable products, they do face a significant challenge, but the current Shield is not the answer.
But forget G2A for a moment and imagine SteamTrades became a commercial platform where cg gets a cut of every sale, BUT he's is responsible for every duplicate or invalid key, every scam and so on. Do you see a simple, obvious solution to that? I don't. Not until Steam provides an API to validate keys, at least.

They said "And when the time is right". That means time wasn't right since they didn't reveal it yet. ;)

I want lords of the fallen (it's like a mix of darksouls and darksiders).
Don't really care about anything else.
Why isn't this up yet?
dirt3 is great but was free, syberias suck and superhot is overrated imho
but anyone is free to like whatever they want

Same, i already got all the other titles, but it's 2.5€, the biggest deal of Superhot is 8.42€

Well, hope they do it on 19:00 (on my country time), that is the time Steam change trhe deals and HB change deals on store and that kind of stuff.

Because CET is Europe, PST is America.
When there's afternoon in Europe (so, 12-20), then it's morning in America (so, for sure if wouldn't be 7PM-3AM, more around 3AM-11AM).
But when it is afternoon in America, then it is evening/night in Europe...

It's totally surprising, but it looks like G2A is trying to go more legit. They were able to get few publishers and create bundle a'la Humble Monthly.
February G2A Deal will have Superhot, Lords of the Fallen and Dirt3 and something more.
"February G2A Deal’s subscription price is only €1.50 for five wonderful games. And if you don’t want to subscribe just yet, you will always be able to test the waters with a one-time purchase for €2.50. And it goes live this Friday"
"
"Each Deal is created in close cooperation with game developers and publishers to make sure every gamer is satisfied with every pack, every month. All the keys are Steam-activated and acquired directly from developers to remove any unnecessary steps between you and your games."
Dirt 3 smells fishy (as it was removed from Steam, but maybe it was just Codemasters not wanting old game to take the spotlight from new titles?), but still, when tommorow there will be massive wave of Dirt-y Lords of the Superhot Fallen, you'll know who to blame.
Edit: Last two games are Syberia and Syberia 2.
"And when the time is right (between 12:00 – 20:00 CET (UTC+1) | 7 PM – 3AM PST (UTC+8)), we will be the first ones to give you a direct link, right here in this post. You will be just ONE CLICK AWAY FROM G2A DEAL"
Edit2: I think they screwed up times, why would they write "Deal will happen around afternoon in Europe which will be Night for America"?
Unless I missed the info Earth rotates in opposite way, so sun "travels" from west to east...
Edit3: "UPDATE
Due to technical problems we were unable to start the service at announced time. We are still working to deliver G2A Deal as fast as possible. We regret the inconvenience. Stay tuned."
So it begins...
Edit4: ALIVE
Worthy note: "You have to receive and activate those keys before 10th of April 2017. After this date, the keys will be deactivated. "

Edit5: G2A Deal's FAQ, thanks Rip777 for your comment.
Edit 6: Deal #2 to start on March 30th., games will be announced in next few days. Thanks Jaru93s. I plan to start new thread when full list of games will be announced (which shound happen before 29th, but who knows...), unless someone will decide to do it before me, no need to duplicate threads.
