No more update for Battleborn

Battleborn sales were not as they hoped, I guess they don't want to invest time and money anymore into the game and move on.

To anyone who liked Battleborn co-op missions, I suggest switching to Warframe.

I don't think anyone who played it is happy about this. Its very unique indeed and would've had a market if it were presented properly.
Jumped in about a month after release with a friend and had a lot of fun in SP, going to MP (note, a month after release) we were queued against level 100 (max level) who are clearly queued together.
Initial marketing, netcode (i seem to have this issue with all gearbox games, where i can't find players even though my internet is fast & stable optical fiber), queuing with a friend in Europe we get matches but matchmaking is unfair to say the least and finally the "free trial" nonsense was the final nail in its coffin. Why not Free to Play Multiplayer ?! "Free trial" is a limited access for a set amount of time, it wasn't that for sure.

Funny thing, i own the deluxe edition and wouldn't mind the entire game going free if it meant it will attract/sustain a playerbase.

Why would they announce that?
I don't get how telling people that is a good thing. It would have been months before anyone even expected an update and then months after that before anybody was upset no update came. Now people are upset immediately and may have just found a reason to not play if they do play and never play if they haven't played.
