YES! After 8 days of living in the darkness without heat, power, internet and steamgifts :) ... I'm back! I've been out of the video game loop for theses 8 days, so what video game deals did I miss? Bundles? News? Thanks! Feel free to ask me questions too! (if you care or don't whatever, you won't hurt my feelings).

P.S. Military MRE (Meals-Ready-to-Eat) are actually pretty good! :)

You missed everything! Aliens took over the world and now we must mine the earth for what fuels their ships-- dirt.

Sadly, they eradicated all (adult) females, in a attempt to stop the growing population and a possible future uprising. So watch out, before you know it, a desperate, lonely guy, might approach you, asking you if you want to be his "Harriet".

The worst part was the cold! For the past couple of days I slept in about 6 layers of clothes and 3 big blankets. 2nd worse was probably having to boil water to take a hot shower. We used a Watering can and called it the hillbillie shower. And ohhhhhhhh the GAS SHORTAGE!!! I had to wait on line for almost 2 hours for 7.5 gallons of gas! (which we used to fill up our grandparents car)

But yay, you survived :P
And at least you didn't have to take freezing cold showers. They are torture :p
Here is a warm welcome back to the internet.

Well actually... the first couple of days we couldn't even leave our house and get more supplies because of the trees and downed power lines, so we had to take cold showers. NOT FUN!

Crazy thing that something like that could happen in a society as advanced as America...Makes me realize more than ever that we are nothing more than ants, living in the shadow of mother earth :(
Glad you're oke though and lets hope others will be to.
Here in Europe we had some fundraisers to help some of the poor.
I even went swimming naked in the sea(its freezing here so thats cold) for 500$ that friends would pay if i did :D

Actually on Long Island (were I live) Our Electric Company has outdated power grids and generators. Which is now being called out by our Senators and Governor. The electric company is saying in places like Long Beach,NY power will be restored in a few weeks! I hope everyone in the severely flooded areas are okay! And now that our power is back on i'm going to give a case of water to my friends who still don't have power. Be back soon.

True that. But you'd need to stack up a lot of charcoal (and meat, which maybe a problem since no power => no fridge => meat will go off quick) before hand if you want bbq for 8 days in a row :P

well, of course some idiots tried, and got arrested. but it was not nearly as bad as new orleans. it was bad, there was losses of lives and homes, but you cant compare the two. some of the pictures i've seen were bad, and for me to only lose power/heat for a little over a week was lucky.
