give it out on forum instead, make a drawing, tell people to post their number out of 1-200 and make http://random.org drawing and whoever number is drawn give it to them.
Or post it in the forums (the key) but replace the first letter of the key to "?" and say what is the first letter - this way the programmers who make bots who steal Steam keys can go fuck themselves

You have to give away the gift URL - at least in case of HIB.
For Indie Gala 1 there is no gift URL, so it's probably okay to give away all the codes as a complete package.

Oh, you are probably right. I just checked and you cannot select Indie Gala 1 when creating a giveaway.
One more reason for me to wait until there's an update on the discussion on how to handle individual bundle keys.

It's probably related to the bundle rules. From the FAQ: "Users may not submit individual gift from any bundle. This includes either keys for activating the entire bundle, parts of the bundle, or individual keys or giftable items/games. Please do not submit games from bundles while they are on sale to avoid confusion. These giveaways are subject to immediate removal. Members may only submit unused, giftable links of the bundle. Accounts that habitually violate this policy may be suspended until further notice."

ohh i see! thats why mi giveaway dissappeared too! so i´ll have to wait until a certain bundle ends to give away a game that is contained in it, am i right? thanks for the explanation, cos i had completely misunderstood this part on the rules. I thought if a have a key for a game (which doesnt come from a bundle) it was okay to give it anytime.

They should have got their points back so no harm done. Except for the time wasted by the mods deleting giveaways. Thanks for wanting to give to the community but giving out seperate bundle keys somewhere like the forums/chat is the only way allowed to give them out here.
