This might be just nostalgia, but I still remember playing Deep Duck Trouble Starring Donald Duck as a kid and it is still one of my favourite games to this day.

16 yrs...I feel I should have the privilege (?!) of saying back in the day yk, isn't that like uh the only perk of getting older lol >!? Altho tbf I also had like some knock-off Gameboy when I was a tiny person but I didn't play with it much as it got lost mysteriously _

My Steam Deck OLED just shipped today back from the RMA center. Not sure if it's a problem anymore (or just launch Steam OLEDs) but if you have a pair of 3.5mm headphones, plug them in. If you hear static, you may want to RMA. The lower impedance headphones, the better for seeing if you have the issue.
Two best resources for the Steam Deck:
Also, nothing's a waste just because it's not a necessity, as long as it gave you enough joy (especially if it's an upgrade from your laptop). Another thing of note is if you want to dock, lots of models on the market, you don't need to get the $80 official one. Make sure you it has proper USB-C passthrough charging, that's the most important!

I have lots of chargers for previous devices I had (or still have); iPhone, Android, Oculus Quest 2, Laptop, Windows Vista Laptop, Chromebook, DSi, Gameboy, etc. I don't throw them away because I never know when I'll need them again lol. And thank you for the head ups, gonna save the links

Well, hope it serves you well. That is some dedication to save up for the OLED version. I personally cheaped out and didnt want to spend that much, so went for the regular one with 64 GB version.
But overall steamdeck is great. Love it.

You can play most games on the Deck and it's a great device IMO.

I have fairly powerful R7-5800H/RTX3060/32GB laptop but pretty much all I do on it is work. Ever since I got it in December 2022, Steam Deck was and is my primary gaming platform and I regret nothing.
BTW, I have both LCD and OLED and you did good choosing OLED because it feels considerably better in pretty much every way when compared to LCD

Or a total time you spent in a year, so that you could calculate it based on the percentage yourself :')

As the title says, I JUST BOUGHT A StEAM DECK! Considering I only get $160 per month, no job would hire me so I'm doing side gig, it took a while to get the 512GB OLED Version. It might be a waste of cash, but I really don't care on how I waste my money, as long as it's worth it. I might save up for a gaming computer (my gaming laptop is... horrible...)
