Besides, when I do get cash, its as Visa gift cards which I haven't had luck getting working with PayPal, so my only choice would be a purchase from Steam, Amazon or Greenman Gaming.

If it is a Steam game, you will get a Steam key, from your library, after your purchase. You can then take the key and enter it into Steam.

Every game will depend on what it is. If it's a Steamworks game, then you will receive a steam code with which you redeem on Steam. If it's direct download, you'll get a download link. If it needs a serial key, you'll get that too. It depends on what game it is. If you're just looking for games that are Steam-redeemable, then look for the part where it says DRM: Steamworks.
