I realized a couple days ago I may be the most cantankerous and cynical person in the world, when a person told me "Happy New Year" and my friend said something like "See, there's something agreeable. Not like Christmas or Hannukah or whatever where everybody's worrying about offending each other." and I thought "No, it still pisses me off".

I find our attempted measurement of time to be arrogant, and frankly stupid and arbitrary.

I am the anti-birthday, anti-new years eve and anti-christmas guy. Heck I am the anti-every-goddamn-holiday guy. I didn't celebrate christmas, I don't celebrate my birthday (I don't even tell others about it) and I always say I'm busy on NYE even though I do nothing. I even mute my phone on these days so I dont notice any notifications and then ignore them the next day.

Don't know how or why I turned into this anti guy, I regret nothing though.

I have a bottle of scotch in me so it's good.
