I'm quite sure I created a Steam account long ago, but I had a crappy internet connection and no money so I didn't buy anything and forgot about it. In 2012 I got a decent connection but didn't use Steam until I preordered Grim Dawn and got a Steam key, in late 2013, and I created a new Steam account. I regret forgetting about it, those "XX years" badges look good!
Congratulations on your seven years!

Seven years ago I created a Steam account, with not really a clue what I would do with it. Not sure why I did it really, but I didn't actually do anything with the account at the time.
Almost two years later, I added a first game: Dirt 3. I had gotten a code for it with a video card purchase. I don't think I even downloaded the game and I quickly forgot about the account once again.
A bit over 6 months later, Humble released their first Humble Indie Bundle for Android. That's when I discovered bundles through some Android blogs I was following. Since they also came with Steam keys, I activated the games on Steam and this time I stuck around.
Fast forward four years and a half and I'm now sitting on an ever-growing gaming library, getting dangerously close to owning six thousands game licences.
Of course, this now means I have to do a giveaway to celebrate.
Celebratory giveaway!
