^This.
OP, you have obviously played BAC, so no reason to regret not having waited for a sale.

Stop thinking. Just get it!
Seriously, the game is great. You won't regret it.

What sucks its that they do not offer the option of buying a dlc bundle. So, Its actually cheaper for me to buy the game again that actually buying each dlc.

And it doesn't even have co-op/mp so you "had" to buy it earlier.

Hell I paid $60 for Arkham City when it first came out with no DLC.

Now though since I've discovered the awesome world of cheap PC games I don't pay that price anymore. Accept for a few must haves on D1 which has dwindle majorly.

Its actually 10 activations for 5 machines/PCs each.

I wonder how long it will take until people start spamming this sort of threads with info on DRM, encouraging everyone to pirate DRM-infested games and never buy them. Because until that happens, across the internet, developers/publishers will not have a strong reason to cut out the crap from their games.
I mean, just look at the comments here. The majority of people don't seem to mind the fact that this particular game is being rented rather than purchased. On a service that promises lifetime access...

Right? I mean games get lower prices as they get older, its sorta common sense...

If you're on a budget, patience is your friend. I usually wait a year before getting a game and then get the GOTY edition with all the DLC. However, if I lived a luxurious life, I would always day 1 purchase so the developers get more money.

Indeed, the previous Batman AC should become GOTY for free xD

I almost bought the games for my boyfriend at a much higher price too, then came the Amazon bundle with the 2 games for 10 dollars, so I know a bit of how feel ):

Think of it this way. You are rewarding devs for making an amazing game by giving them more money

Many games get such GOtY/Complete versions, all you have to do is wait. Sales are always about waiting for the right time to buy something you want. If you buy early/pre-order, it just shows that having it earlier is enough for you to pay more.

Game of the Year editions are something totally new and you'd never expect any decent game with DLC to receive one eventually.
If you paid $15 it wasn't a new release and chances are you knew about Arkham Asylum GOTY. Who's fault is it that you were impatient and decided to not wait for the GOTY edition?

Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition @ $7.49. Seriously. I bought the normal version one for like $15 when it was on sale, and now I have to get Harley Quinn's DLC for another $2.49.
But on a serious note, if you haven't played the game, I strongly recommend you do. It's one of the best games I've ever played. Batman AA too (it's $4.99 now).
Oh, for those of you who got TL2 during the 25% sale and are bummed about the new 50% sale, I hear you man. I preordered it, and there wasn't even any perks. I was just excited about the game :/
I'll just take it that the money goes to supporting the devs.
