I actually didn't check. It's been a while since I last bought on key websites.
ofc if you want to spend less, go there. But if you want a refundable copy, 5€ on top isn't all too bad imho.

It's $17 on IndieGala very often (2 weeks ago). And it's cheaper to buy Base game and the Season pass separately than buying Non-Mandatory bundle.

the price history at gg.deals tells me:
So it's probably just an historical low for the Steam store itself? The 2nd and 3rd best might have been for Epic, but at least the GOG version would have been a nice alternative.

Seems to be the case. I only checked SteamDB about it to be honest. Which made sense to me, posting it on steamgifts.com. You know, the name.. and such.

I checked the store pages. Gamesplanet offers to choose between Epic or Steam (with the Epic key being region locked, while the Steam key is not). GamersGate is indeed for Epic only. Anyway, I think I can wait ... it'll probably be closer to €10 next winter?

If I'd noticed that offer back then, I might have bought it. The fact that I'd actually own a DRM-free copy (compared to Steam's "you don't own shit" subscription policy) makes GOG preferable - it's just their prices are usually much higher for me.

Its been getting cheaper and cheaper and at this point I dont doubt its going to follow the same PS Plus, EGS Free game, Humble Choice cycle in the next months.

I won this game and have only gotten to play it 2-3 hours so far, but I'll say that I'm digging it. Great atmosphere and decent mechanics. The worldbuilding is solid.

I believe you can definitely get it at 70-75% off on other official sites, and if you don't care about the soundtrack, buying the base+season pass separately is cheaper. Arguably, the dlcs/season pass aren't quite worth the current sale price, you can skip it for better sales in the future if you don't mind waiting.
Ofc, waiting for longer until the GOTY itself goes on 80-85% sale would be ideal. Considering the devs, a good discount in a few years is highly likely.

Played on Gamepass and eh, It's quite mediocre... at least compared to the New Vegas (If we can consider that a benchmark for FPS-RPG from Obsidian).
I'd say wait for another year to buy the complete edition for $10-15 OR an eventual entry in Humble Choice.

Weird that this game had hype at all cause it really didn't looked better then their own game from a decade ago...

Outer Worlds, GREAT game. It's what New Vegas SHOULD have been.
