Did you close steam and reopen it before trying again? Sounds like the daily auth cookie didn't update.

I tried in both my browsers and in Steam itself..
So it's either my region or general Store is bugged right now or my account was somehow flagged and blocked for some unknown reason.

Given how steam sometimes does weird stuff like this with specific user accounts, all I can suggest is waiting an hour for it to clear before trying again. Sorry I don't have any more useful ideas : /

I'm from SEA. I have the same problem on browser but not on Steam. It happen for few days before untill now, but sometime I can add when using browser. When using Steam itself nothing problem occured.

Hi.. I'm trying to buy some games as Gift Items right now and I keep getting the "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." Message. No I didn't buy anything today so it doesn't have anything to do with the purchase limit.
Could anyone try to purchase something as a gift.. no need to complete the purchase but simply tell me if you can get to the last step (last confirmation, you can cancel there) without an error. I would really appreciate it to know if I need to contact support or if it's a general problem.
