Of course this counts as begging. And it's not a guest pass, it's beta access which is a huge difference. Also people basically paid for this beta access since it is a part of the Career Criminal Edition, not even something you get with the normal Payday 2 Pre-Order.

Note this too: Just because you say it's not supposed to be begging, it does not change the fact that it is begging.

Even if you were begging for one fucking cent of steam wallet, or a ball of pocket lint, - it's still begging, as you're asking something for free from someone that has value to you. What in hell does it matter whether it's a guest pass, or a beta pass?

Then, you yourself ask if you can have a beta pass. How in the hell does then saying "well, it wasn't exactly made clear that it WASN'T a guest pass" make even the slightest, most infinitesimal, minute, microscopic drop of sense?

i also noticed this lucky i live in UK :) you would of thought it would have been around $7.50 to upgrade not $20

That's probably a pricing error. If you're UK, catch it, just in case it's the UK that needs to go up for some reason.

Technically it is a paid beta...? They still have ample time to collect everyone's feedback on the game and change anything they need to though.
