So long they are the same Mhz and Timing, else you'll probably be slowing down your new memory or become uncompatible. Optimal gaming memory is actually 4GB (if 32bit dual channel) or 8GB (if 64bit dual channel) DDR3 1600Mhz CL7 or CL9 timing. No more or less is need as it won't show more than 1% performance gain towards games.

Depends. Are the same spec as your new RAM? In timings, voltage? If so, keep them in, if not, stick with your current new set.

The drawer of your desk under the computer/somewhere out of the way but close.
Sometimes, your new ram will fail, and when it does, it's always good to have the stock ram from your computer in a safe place nearby. Ram failures are super rare, but if you're on an older computer or the clock speed is suddenly wrong or you bought the cheapest RAM available and it turned out defective after it's too late to return, you should always keep unused working RAM nearby.

Upload it onto the internet so someone else can download it.

keep them safe somewhere to change them if the new ones someday been destroyed .With NO rams your pc cannot open, only without gpu, keyboard, mouse, net and sound system. Also think that you have something very important to do and the NEW rams going out of order you are doomed then so if you have a pair of rams somewhere you change them fast and you do your job. That is what i do i have about 3 different pairs of memeory and one from every class one pair of ddr1 ddr2 ddr3

I have an old GeForce 3 Ti and I'm trying to find a cool frame to frame it :D. Should work with RAM too.
