Does Uplay have region lock ?

Hi,
I was just wondering if Uplay has a region lock?
I mean, if I buy Rainbow Six Siege RUSSIAN on Steam, would Uplay not let me play the game? I know Steam would probably not let me run it, but once its on the account, I presume it ends up on uplay account automatically, and it should be a simple matter of running it via uplay, and then remove the game from Steam?

I'm in Australia btw.

From what i heard, you'll be able to play the game, BUT ONLY with the ACCORDING LANGUAGE to it. So, if you're fine with playing the Rainbow Six Siege in Russian, i think you're fine.

yes, they have same region locks as steam.
