The guy loaned a shitload of money from the state, failed to deliver on the unrealistically huge expectations that created, and then couldn't pay his employees anymore. Why would you want to reward bad business decisions? It's not as if Kingdoms of Amalur was that great.
Besides, if you wanted to support the developer, you should've bought the game.

Still better than most crap crowdfunding projects.

Yes, but crowdfunding projects aren't made with millions of taxpayer dollars.
Also, giving the guy money at this point isn't going to help anyway because the company already went bust and all the people working there already moved on.

"Curt Schilling likes World of Warcraft, so he ruined 379 lives. Before that he threw balls for a living. In no way does throwing a ball qualify someone to run a game company,"

"I have a few friends both at 38 and Big Huge Games; both offices have industry leading talent, both teams have gotten a raw deal. I want to be Waterford Crystal clear here: both of those offices were not closed due to inferior teams, they were closed because of inferior management."
"Is there anything about this that isn't a mess?
Nope. The head of the RIEDC has already resigned, and yesterday Joystiq reported that various executives' profiles kept mysteriously appearing and disappearing from 38 Studios' website. It seems likely that some corporate "reorganization" is in order."
Fffffffffuck Curt Schilling.

a while ago, Curt Schilling put most of his money from baseball into making a video game company, 38 studios
They make Kingds of Amalaur Rekoning, then sunk.
Now 38 Studios is bankrupt, and I want to pay a tiny bit back from the gaming unity to Curt Schilling.
I am thinking of creating an indiegogo for it.
Please tell me what you think, and if you think it would be successful
Also what the goal amount of money should
Be!
