I have been wondering how some of the people on this site can afford to make so many giveaways. Clearly the answer is that they are either millionaires or high end thieves who steal from the rich and then convert that money into games to give to the poor.

Or they do a lot of surveys on sites like tremorgames and such.

He gets Green Man Gaming and GamersGate credit for their ads on this site. Just look at the bottom of the page. Money from Google Ad Services/Ad Choices/Ad Double Click probably goes towards the site expenses as well.

You'd be surprised how little money I actually spend on the give away I make. generally I keep it under 20 per give away. Why make them? feels good.

There's always a big sale on something - 75% off, 90% off, etc. Usually it's something you'd never play, but sometimes you get lucky and find a deal on something great. I assume the insanely generous people on here are not buying all their games at full retail price - now that would be insane. :)
