IGN rebundling unused bundle keys from HB to sell to a new audience. This is what a $5 monthly Choice would look like I guess.

It's worth noting that the year sub is an extra 25% off right now.

Thanks for the notice!
There is also Tiny Troopers claimable, "game of the month", gives Steam key. Not on your list yet...

It's actually Tiny Troopers: Global Ops which is yet to be released.
From the game's announcement: "This means that lucky subscribers get to play the steam beta and keep the full game when it launches."

If only IGN already acquired a website specifically for game bundles that is much more popular then starting another one. If only.
This is a decent deal if you just want some free games for the first month, then instantly cancel, because lets be honest, they're giving away games for deals they can't use in choice and can't make hb bundles out of since these game are like bottom tier. This is going to be great for the people that have like 8 different cards and 16 other different ways to pay, so they can keep swapping accounts to get the free stuff every month.

Proof of that? There are devs who would love to give out like 1k keys for a game in a deal. IGN was the #1 site for gaming for a very long time, and their name still means something. Acquiring a company is a much bigger task. For $30 for a year. free games, exclusive coupons and exclusive giveaways ain't bad per se.

Proof that this will mostly be for indie games they decided not to use in their primary asset "Humble Bundle Choice"? I don't work there so it's not like I can guarantee you anything or show you any of their paperwork, but you can make some pretty easy deductions.
I'd say there's 0 chances they're going to prioritize putting the better games on this new platform when they're basically leading at the top with humble bundle. I would assume there's 0 chances to see any recent AAA games here. I'd assume they're going to give out origin/uplay/gog keys since they're cheaper as well as dead multiplayer games.
Of course all this makes sense unless their intention is to transfer users from humble bundle to their new platform where proceeds don't go to charity, and kill off humble bundle. It is a posibility.
Not saying it's a terrible deal. I do find it funny that they paid money for a dedicated place to do that, only to start a new one, also just thought people should have an idea what they're paying for and not complain month after month when they don't add AAA titles.. At the end of the day if you can get 8 games for $5 or less it's like paying 50 cents a game which is great.
PS: What is with that account? 9 year old account, 9 total comments, every single one in this thread, 9 giveaways entered. Did your previous one get suspended?

Again, IGN was already giving away games for years before buying HB. HB is also a publisher which likely is a bigger interest than profiting from bundles (we don't know HB's profits as far as I know).
And there is another reason not to give these games through HB: this games are linked to IGN's name. It's quite niche knowledge that IFN owns Humble Bundle, so by giving under the name of IGN has more direct PR and marketing value for them - even more that they continue their past "IGN Prime" prime project

Are these all new games for this month or have they been free (for subscribers) for a while? Trying to gauge what future months may look like. I just recall that Jay & Silent Bob was included at some point in the past.
I signed up for the trial anyway (appreciate the heads up!) but not sure whether or not I want to keep it yet.

I don't think there will be 8 new games every month, in "recent" they only show one game and one giveaway, so maybe one per week or so? I'm going to wait and see how it looks after Nov 1st. I looked around the site (first time visitor) and there's nothing else of interest to me, so no point in staying subbed other than the free games.

Extremely common. A lot of services will do a check for up to a $1 to verify the card.

The terms are insane xD
Who thought of this idea anyway?.. Makes sense to has this price tag..

man, this time i've overestimated you! thought you knew it since ages... :P (found it on reddit, btw)
also thought those keys would be grabbed faster than this.
they didn't shared the actual numbers, but it seems they'll kinda "escalate" it so that almost every + member will have a week or so to get a key.
looks fair to me, itsa goo' deal!
