bought the microsoft bundle but found out not available in my region

bought it and searched toy soldier to c how its like so that i can sell it or activate on my own.
but found out that its not available in my region. but i do have a key
what happens if i try to activate the key? will the key be invalid to use afterwards and not in my inventory as well?

You can activate the key without any problem, i.e Batman AC is not available in my region (Steam store) but most of my friends have the games, Steam doesn't sell the game in your region doesn't mean you can't activate it by key

You should be able to redeem the game even if the game is not available in your region.
It worked for me with Batman Arkham City.

Also, Rage is not available in my country via Steam, but I can buy a hard copy. Since Rage is a steam game, that means I can activate it.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, you just can't buy it -say, from Steam- but if you bought it from somewhere else (In my case, I bought Batman AC from GmG, it was region locked in Steam for me) you can activate it and play it.

Should work, if it doesn't the key isn't used up and can be given to someone else if you want.
