It's generally recommended to keep script related bugs and suggestions in their respective script threads.
The bugs & suggestions category is ment for bugs and suggestions related to (vanilla) SteamGifts, not scripts, games or household appliances ;)

I had that problem with Stylish in Firefox, but switching to Stylus fixed the issue. Considering you're using Chrome and the ESGST extension, I have no solution in mind but I would suggest trying to install the userstyles directly from the source, using Stylus and see if that fixes the problem?
Otherwise, you might want to post your question in the ESGST thread for better visibility by the involved parties.

Hello everyone,
i just got the info that the ESGST Tampermonkey script is deprecated and so I moved to the chrome extension.
I had the dark theme applied on the tampermonkey script.
When I now load the steamgifts page (without the tampermonkey but with extension) the page get dark for a second and then turn white again, no matter if i set a theme in the chrome extension now.
I'm a little lost now. The Tampermonkey script is gone and the extension is not doing what i set it to. Can someone give me any hints?
