Here some suggestion:
If you want people to believe you, (1) at least you have one installed in your library and/or
(2) open your gift permission and let people see gifts in your inventory
to avoid negative respond

Thanks for the suggestions but the thing is I already own GTA 5 but on console, I have already done everything on that game played it so much that I had enough of it, but I thought to myself that there are a lot of people who haven't and they would maybe still enjoy the game that's why I don't have it in my library.

A week ago or few days ago, I saw the copies in your inventory before it end.
And now the game was delivered.
Really nice :)
I hope negativity is over and you got your name and your youtube channel positiveness back
Good luck

You are completely right to do what you're doing, but do keep in mind that when there are fake giveaways, they are almost always BIG giveaways from new users with no previous giveaway history, so you can understand hopefully if some people are going to be skeptical when they see yours. I would reiterate what was said before, as a showing of good intent you might want to change your settings to allow people to see that you do in fact have the games in your inventory. If you don't have the games now while they're on sale, it's unlikely that you're going to have them later when they are twice as expensive.
Welcome to steamgifts, thanks for the chance :)

Usually when you see someone's first giveaway is a AAA full price game (also 3 copies), most people (myself included) would suspect the GA is fake, maybe because the user didn't understand how the site works, or maybe he is just trolling. Sadly most people just yell at the user without nobody being sure if the GA is in fact fake.
Since you seem to understand how the site works as I can see in the description (which a lot of people seem to skip reading it for some reason) I have no reason to not trust you, unless you are lying of course, but how would I know that? :P
So yeah... in behave of the site, sorry about that :3

Its uncalled for, but there are some red flags so some just assumed based on them.
1- You are a new user giving away a highly wanted game.
2- You don't own the game yourself.
3- You made the maximum number of giveaway slots given to new users.

You'd be surprised how many of these kind of giveaways end up actually being fakes from people thinking they're actually getting the game they are actually supposed to give away(I see Chack already covered this, I'm a slow writer :P), there's a number of them on an almost daily basis so your case is actually the exception to the rule. Leaving those comments though is against site regulations and if you want to report them it's within your power to do so(although a bit uneeded imo).
Just ignore those for the time being, after this one concludes and it gets marked as received from the winners those will drastically drop if not go extinct alltogether. Either good luck with your channel and hope you get to like the site and community after this little hiccup :P

Why not just show you have 3 gifts in your inventory? That will convince most of the people and the negativity will lower.

you are that 2nd person who appeared right after another user (who is by the way in your friendlist in steam!) has made the same GTA V giveaway with the same ammount of copies, with the SAME description, same duration, only different youtube channells. he was also crying about people disliking his video and now his giveaway is deleted. care to explain?

Good question, now I am not going to lie, he's a friend of mine that owns a youtube channel as well and he made a giveaway on this site and it got a lot of traffic so he contacted me and said hey you should do it too, so I made one as well, but then half way through he deleted it, saying the given information was wrong, but that has nothing to do with me.

"he made a giveaway on this site and it got a lot of traffic so he contacted me and said hey you should do it too, so I made one as well"
December 29, 2016, 12:13 pm <- lyow's GA
December 29, 2016, 12:07 pm <- your GA
How did you go back in time?

Then I guess he lied to me as well and didn't make before one I did :/

Adding the other user who created 3 copies is on your friend list, but with other youtube channel
Plus this text is found on them, thanks to http://cachedview.com/
Both with suspicious similar text
Yours: Please subscribe for more BIG giveaways!!
His: Please Subscribe For More BIG Giveaways!!
But maybe all planets aligned wrong, so welcome to SG.
Edit; best course of action for you and for trust in your channel, is keep going the GA, and prove those included me we were so damn wrong. I want to believe.

As I responded above, hope it will clearify things.

Assuming you are aware there are no CD-keys for Grand Theft Auto 5 that activate on STEAM, you might understand why people are doubting the giveaway is legit. On top of that, you don't seem to own any gift copies of the game, which raises even more flags that the giveaway might indeed be fake. All things considered, you have the benefit of the doubt until the giveaway ends, however when you are offering 3 copies of an AAA game as your first giveaway to promote a youtube channel with 500 subs, expect people to doubt it's real.

Hello welcome to SG.
I don't want to defend people who wrote negative/hateful comments, but you should understand that many new people who join this site don't understand it and make a giveaway (usually for GTA V) and then disappear, leaving the winner sad and disappointed. That's why people tend to be skeptic when GA like that shows up.
I apologize for them and again, welcome =). You will see much nicer comments on your next giveaway when the current one finishes successfully and people will trust you. People here are actually very nice when you give them a chance =).

Tip: to avoid any kind of negative comments, you should at least make few small GAs before doing big ones like this, you might not get everyone's trust. Good luck with your channel!

Thanks for the advice, but I guess should've done it before making this one haha, but after this giveaway I'll be giving away a lot more.

So you are planing to buy 3 GTA V games for 60$ each in 3 weeks?
Comment has been collapsed.
Giveaway or not, I'm kind of interested to hear from you why you did not buy the 3 copies when it was on sale. Now the sale is over, so you're going to have to pay $90 more than you would have before, if you intend to follow through on your GA. Thoughts?

Welcome to SG! I hope you will enjoy your stay here (after this first patch of negativity).
But as others have said, I'm kind of curious why you didn't buy the copies while they were on sale. You also seem to avoid these questions (not trying to be negative, but it's a reason for people to be suspicious).

Can you say to your "friend" SashoTVBG (another one with the same game, same message...) that if his giveaway is marked as non recieved (probably in 1 or 2 day). He probably will have many downvote on his channel. He need to be fast and contact the "winner" of his GA. ( https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/cYKPH/grand-theft-auto-v/winners )
Many will probably keep your channel link in hope to not have to downvote it too.
Another idea to stop the "negativity" is to do anothers giveaway with others games who end in 24-48H ;-)

hmmm I think you're mistaking m8 I don't know that guy

Say what you will but I've seen people lie through their teeth before for whatever hidden agenda they might have. To me the proof is in the pudding so to speak. Anyway in 4 weeks we will know one way or the other.
edit: for what it's worth there was just another 3-copy GTA V giveaway from another new user that was subsequently deleted by said user

Its unusual for this kind of thing to turn into such a circus, but its not unusual to see new users come in, offer massive AAA giveaways and then fail to deliver, you happened to do a similar giveaway as someone else in a very short space of time. So people are suspicious.
Benefit of the doubt has to be given to you though, I already own GTAV but I hope you come through with it, if not well, you'll have given your channel a lot of negative publicity rather than positive.

Isn't there anyway to reduce the remaining time for the giveaway? At this point I just want to giveaway the games?
Reason (Number of dislikes): http://imgur.com/a/sZe2F

No. But you can just edit the description and remove the link to your channel.

I say - don't delete the giveaway. That will only generate even more negativity.
The length of the giveaway combined with no previous giveaway history, and starting with something as big as 3x GTA V was perhaps not the best move since many will be suspicious against this. The site has seen hundreds, maybe thousands of giveaways for expensive/popular games from new users who never delivered the gifts to the winners after the giveaways ended.
The best you can do is to remove the Youtube link for now, and make sure to actually deliver the 3x GTA V Steam gifts to the winners after the giveaway ends.
If you deliver in the end, then this thread will become quite the news story on Steamgifts, and something everyone links to whenever someone shouts "FAKE!" whenever a new member gives away something expensive as their first gift.
With a successful 3x GTA V giveaway in your history, you won't have any more problems with people complaining or giving negative votes if you do more giveaways in the future.

one of the best experiences in this place is watching idiots get suspended for calling out "FAKE GIVEAWAY!" <3
why do they do that, anyway? It's not like points are valuable commodity. I see it a lot and it's really irritating how there's always that one guy who tries to pseudo-intellectually comment "hey thanks for X game which you will give to winner on this website thanks" to circumvent calling out
Comment has been collapsed.
it's even more strange now - when we experience almost endless flow of points thanks to last humble "overpriced" bundle xD
Comment has been collapsed.
they do that because in short, they are idiots.
points are free and no one forces people to enter giveaways, so if by some miracle they can win a giveaway with 10.000 entries or more and it was fake, nothing will be lost at all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
well, if you plan on keep using this site to promote your youtube channel, feel free to blacklist those users that make fun of you so they can't enter more giveaways in the future.

Yoo guys,
I recently discovered this site and red the TOS/FAQ and liked the way this site works, a legit way at drawing winners for my giveaways, now for some reason I ended up getting a lot of negative comments on the giveaway and/or my youtube channel, what I'd like to say is that before actually telling yourself, me, other people,... that the giveaway is fake maybe give me and the giveaway the chance and time to prove that it's not? Mainly doing this for publicity I am not going to lie, but I am also willing to give back as much as I can to my viewers, hope you guys understand and have a nice day.
If you're interested, I am giving away 3 GTA 5 copies: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/0qQy2/grand-theft-auto-v
Best regards
FLIIICK
