It's awesome. Though im not very far in ( first hour or so).

TL2 is a lot like diablo 2.
Every thing is randomised, started a new game twice, and bam, can't recognise the map. Elevation changes and complex map changes, its awesome.

The spell system comes with tiers so every now and then as you level you spells they gain new mechanics/effects. In addition to the charge mechanic they have in place for all classes.

well, If you have a friend or two that also plans on getting torchlight 2, then it will be fun and worth it. The first game was pretty boring because it was singleplayer only, but now they finally added in multiplayer. If you only plan on playing it solo, then it will most likely get boring. I'm still on the fence about preordering it/buying torchlight 2.

yes its gonna be awesome you can expect loads of armour types and more bosses heres a summary comparing TL1 and TL2. As for skyrim you can probably find a retail copy for that price somewhere or those key sites i have never really trusted

I spent a lot of time playing Torchlight and I think Torchlight 2 is worth getting just for co-op option, not to even mention the comparison linked by ibanez543 ;) - decided to buy it after 3-4 hours of playing beta, didn't want to spoil the fun more for me.

They made Torchlight in one year and it was really sweet game, now they had three years to polish new game with the tools already made. It has to be good ;).

Haven't played Torchlight 2 beta but have Pre ordered it ready regardless as it looks ace. I picked up a copy of Skyrim from a local games retailer in the UK for around £17 with I guess is around 23euros. That was nearly a year ago though. You can still find it for slightly more, or you can always wait for the winter sale :) will be around that price then too.
