-Bastion is AWESOME and only maybe 5 hours long, it took me 15 hours to get all achievements.
-Fortix and Fortix 2, I guess maybe 3-4 hours each, took me 13 hours to get all achievements on Fortix 2, 6 hours on Fortix 1.
-Trine and Trine 2(haven't played 2 yet) The first one is awesome it will take maybe 4 hours and only 10 hours for all achievements.
-Party of Sin, 3 hours, 10 hours for all achievements. You'll need to watch a video guide for the speed running achievements but it's a lot of fun if you do.
-Surgeon Simulator 2013, 4 hours for the game, 9 hours all achievements.
-Cave Story+ 6 hours playthrough.
-Death Rally 5 hours.
-Scratches 5 hours.
-The Walking Dead, Sam and Max and Back to the Future about 3 hours per episode.
-Puzzle Agent 1 and 2, 4 hours each.
-Little Inferno, 4 hours.
-The Maw, 3 hours.
-Shank, 3 hours (haven't played Shank 2 yet)
-NightSky, 3 hours
So many more games to play, so little time : /

Yeah, I love that game, it was hard but I'm sad it took me only 9 hours to get all achievements and now I feel like there's no point in playing it anymore :(
Use the syringe to stop the bleeding and try not to cut anything other than what you need to. Ambulance brain surgery was the absolute worst, I raged a little before finally getting A+ on that one :P

Ah you are finding games interesting and are enjoying playing them?, this can only mean one thing...... you must have some important responsibility that you are stalling.

Since you have it, but not played it yet, Homefront might not be the kind of game that you're looking for, but the SP campaign take about 4 hours to finishing. It's a pretty solid game, sad it's too short...
Or you can run like there's no tomorrow and finish it under 2 hours! lol

On a related note, I've been trying to use HLTB to go through all my unplayed games and record all the main story times so I can try sort them in a document and see what is fast to 100%.
So warning, it started out listening the good ones that came to mind, but I ended up listing everything in my Steam library that i've completed or am very close to completing under 4 hours (with a few of my favorites that took me slightly more than 4 hours). So sorry, but at least you have lots of options!
Monster Loves You is a pretty good game, one playthrough takes roughly an hour if you read everything. Not everyone's cup of tea admittedly.
One playthrough of Dear Esther will only run you from 1-2 hours, depending on how often you stop to take screenshots. I loved it, but some people hate it. Depends on what you like in video games, I suppose.
Braid and The Bridge are probably on the borderline.
Waking Mars may run you a bit over, but it's well worth the extra hour imo :p
If you like first person puzzle games (Portal-ish) then definitely Q.U.B.E.
Dynamite Jack is surprisingly fun, the only problem is that if you have a completionist mindset, it will take you a few more hours over the 4 hour mark.
Ittle Dew is probably right in the range if you're playing it just for the main story, and definitely worth playing (imo, anyways).
Adventures of Shuggy (at least when I played it, I think one more mapset was added since) was definitely a blast if you like that sort of more casual oriented logic puzzlers.
I wasn't overly crazy about A Virus Named TOM, but if you already own it then I'd say it's worth clearing out of the backlog.
Oh boy, caution is advised, all the Adam's Venture games are easy 100% in under 4 hours (unless you have to replay the entire thing for one achievement like I had to do for the first one), the only problem is the games are kind of soso, definitely not worth buying, but hey, if you have them and like that sort of setting in a game and like logic puzzles on top of it, I think it might be worth your time...maybe...sort of.......
Rochard is a pretty fun puzzle platformer, with some spotty story telling/voice acting though. Still, if you own it then a game you can knock out in ~4 hours.
Wizorb you can probably finish in 4 hours depending on the difficulty setting and how good you are at block out games. Whether you will like the game comes down to whether you like blockout and the graphic style used in Wizorb.
And Yet It Moves is a very underrated platformer and I immensely enjoyed it, takes about 4 hours.
Ben There, Dan That took me about 4 hours (I'm better at logic puzzles and worse at point and clicks..), it's definitely a nice little game, but relies on your ability to enjoy British humor.
Botanicula takes about 4 hours and it's one of my all time favorite games (I need to play there other games but I'm pretty sure Samorost and Machinarium are under 4 hours as well, could use confirmation from others).
If you already own Offspring Fling it's worth playing since it's so short, it doesn't offer a whole lot beyond the puzzle platforming, but I still enjoyed it...sweet and short (...or is it short and sweet?) :P
Capsized is a pretty cool action platformer that you can finish in about 4 hours, also some of the cooler multi-tiered backdrops I've seen in a platformer :D
Eversion. This game is awesome and you can 100% in 2-3 hours depending on how much you want to cheat on the descriptionless achievements.
BEEP took me just about 4 hours, it's kind of soso, pretty cool graphics and some interesting puzzles, so maybe if that's your thing it's worth investing time into.
At this point I'm mentioning just about any game under 4 hours regardless of whether it's "good" or not, so I might as well throw Babel Rising out there, it's great if you like a simplistic game with an arcade style campaign, but I don't think it's for most people.
Superbrothers takes about 3-4 hours for one playthrough and it's definitely an awesome game, although the gameplay/combat is a bit lacking. I still enjoyed it though.
Fractal is another one of those games that "if it's in your library, it may be worth playing", especially if you like arcade puzzleish games.
Unmechanical i was kind of disappointed with, the puzzles weren't that strong and the game felt kind of short...but hey, you want short games. The setting/graphics werer awesome though, just lacks any type of story and again, the puzzles were on the week side.
I was able to beat Orgain Trail once on easy I think while I was playing it for cards, not my cup of tea but it seems like quite a few people like it, can definitely beat it once in under 4 hours though (I feel kind of stupid it took me until after I already owned it and was playing it for some time that I realized it was a parody of Oregon Trail, despite the fact I noticed the resemblence in the names long before that...)
Sine Mora isn't held in good regards among shmup fans from what I can tell, but as a non-shmup diehard I liked it. The story was intriguing enough and I loved the setting/races/lore of it, the dialog was kind of cool even if I couldn't understand it (it's in another language, forget which one, to make it sound foreign).
Sugar Cube is a nice small game for the puzzle platformer fans, another one that is short and sweet (literally, sweet).
Defy Gravity is cheap enough that it might be worth picking up on sale. I enjoyed playing through the campaign and the remix campaign. It's nothing special, but if you treat it like it's some small flash platformer you won't be disappointed.
Wake & Lunyne, both games can be completed in very little time (I beat 5 of the 6 Lunyne endings in the time it took me to farm cards, and I was on my third playthrough of Wake when I got my final card for that one). I definitely prefered Lunyne over Wake.
ARES is pretty meh, but hey if you like that style of game and already have it, why not quickly beat it while you farm the cards...I personally finished the game as I got my last card, so it worked out great.
Another World definitely suffers in the gameplay department due to the game's age (or more because they didn't mess with the gameplay in the remake), but it's still a fun game to play (or at least I had fun). Considering it had no narrative, I actually enjoyed the "story".
Moonbase Alpha. It's free. John Madden.
You could easily beat The Cave with most of the characters in under four hour, seems like most people like it. I thought it was okay, mostly enjoyed the settings of the different areas and the artstyle, was less thrilled about the gameplay/controls.
Titan Attacks/Ultratron are both games you can finish in an hour or two. Titan Attack is a space invaders game and ultratron plays eerily similar to Beat Hazard (just a much different setting). Both are awesome if you like those respective style of games.
Hamlet is a decent point and click, nothing exceptional but the pricepoint is small...in the end I liked it even if everything was more on the simplistic side.
Ion Assault is pretty short and I actually really enjoyed it, definitely better than I thought it was going to be.
Home is soso, another one of those ones if you own it might be worth knocking out simply because it's so short (~1 hour).
I didn't like Lume at all, but again, if it's in your library ~1 hour.
Thirty Flights of Lovin' is extremely short and is definitely in the "interactive story" genre. I liked it, but I would recommend getting it on sale.
Windosill is a very simple puzzle game, definitely clocks under an hour. It's a pretty cool experience though.
Trauma is probably my least favorite of the interactive story types but it clocks in at about 30 minutes for anyone who cares.
HL Lost Coast ~20 minutes, but hey you can listen to Gaben and some unimportant Valve employees!
You could consider Proteus complete with any amount of time you choose. There isn't much to it. If you got it through the bundle then play it for half an hour and consider it cleared out of your backlog :p
I may have missed some that I spent more time to 100% (started looking at games in my library at about 5-6 hours and worked down to games with like .0 hours because I ran them and crashed or something.) but I said too many games as it is, so I think this list is good enough

+1 for Another World. I dunno if it's four hours long, but it's a great experience for most gamers.

Waking Mars took me 9.1 hours, although I reloaded from the last possible place from where I could change my actions to see the other ending, and I did everything in the game. Well worth it, in my opinion.
Also, Proteus <SPOILER WARNING> has an ending. Multiple endings, actually.

I have 8 hours in Shatter and still haven't finished it :o (finished 8 of 10 worlds).
Mine:
Ittle Dew: it's supposed to be pretty short (2-3h), but I still haven't played it much.
Jamestown: Awesome Shoot'em-up. Short but with good replayability (as any Shoot'em-up).
The Cave: a play-through is around 4h, but you won't see everything in a single play-through.

Haven't seen anyone mention Intrusion 2 yet. It's kind of like Metal Slug, but with physics. It is challenging, and takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete.
The boss fights are REALLY impressive and well designed, and though the last boss made me rage and uninstall the game, it is still a good game nonetheless.

Karateka it takes about half an hour to complete it but it has great replayability

I've had such gaming ADD lately, that the games I seem to enjoy the most and actually complete, are those that are completed in just a couple hours (though many have replay value through unlocks, different modes, etc). Even if they're not the best games, it's nice to get a game "out of the backlog" and actually finish something. Care to share some decent games in this category? I'm sure I own some others. Here's some that I've completed.
