A little bit of history for newcomers

Hello! I've created a little retro platformer game and with the help of friendly SG community managed to polish it and release it on Steam back in late 2016. Since then, I've held three of these "marathon" events in order for all of us to have fun and at the same time to give back to SG members who supported the game by giving them the chance to win some nice prizes.

You can check out spring (3 participants, won DE: Mankind Devided, Dishonored 2 and DOOM), summer (7 participants won Quantum Break, Dark Souls III, Rise of Tomb Raider , TWD: A New Frontier and many other nice games) and Back2School (17 participants, won Dishonored 2, CoD: Advanced Warfare, Cuphead, Life is Strange: Before the Storm and so on) events if you want more info, to read previous hints, tips, and so on.

Introduction

It's officially winter from today/tomorrow, it's SteamWinterSale at the moment, and my winter break starts tomorrow so let's have some fun! I've listened to the suggestions you nice people posted last time and added new and improved tasks for all the potential participants!

Requirements

In order to participate you have to be a nice and well behaved member of SteamGifts community. You need a free Steam account which you already have otherwise you wouldn't be a member of the community here. And you need to have the game called Goblin and Coins in order to be able to perform tasks required in order to be invited to the giveaway trains.

Tips

• Play on casual, it's easier.
• Use a quality keyboard or a gamepad. Some netbook keyboards will ruin your experience, sadly.
• You can rebind the keys in settings menu.
• Feel free to read community guides on Steam.
• If you get discouraged, feel free to watch other players and see how they dealt with something.
• Ask, and someone might answer. There are tips&tricks for all the enemies and bosses, just need to find them.
• Have fun and laugh. That's the point to have fun together :)

Rules

• There are two tasks, each is independent of the other. You can solve only one, or both, it's up to you.
• Each task will have at least 1 private giveaway. Players that solve the tasks will be invited into said giveaway before January 10th.
• Giveaways will be created even if there's only one person participating.
• In order to be invited you have to provide what is asked and in the exact way that was explained in task description.
• Don't cheat. I'll check all applications.
• All submissions must be posted into this thread by the end of January 5th, 2018, CET (GMT+1).
