The server list stays open the whole time. When you hit 'quit game' the server list is right there. Quicker than most games. some people

It's retarded, I agree with miguelangel. I stopped playing it because this crap was too annoying.

Its good and it
s bad....It`s new. The best part is that EA can fix bugs without having to mess with the game code, so you won't have to download patches again and again and again...

i'm having the whole battlefield series and bf3 is the most retarded game they produced. battlelog is really annoying, i must have internet connection to play even singleplayer! of cause there are some new, nice features ingame and graphics are amazing in comparison to other games - but they made a huge step backwards. in my opinion older games in battlefield franchise are way more fun than bf3.

hey you grammer nazi you focused on just "of cause" and bring that out. wow why didnt you look at the first line. you are a very poor excuse for a grammer nazi. mongoloid

Think back to the other games...DICE never build a good Serverbrowser...never!...Battlelog is the first time that we get a good Serverbrowser and other nice things...ok, it opens in your browser and you have soo less memory left for it...damn, close it and install...dont know..chrome?any other really small browser?use battlelog over that and problems are gone...

In my opinion i really hate the battlelog, they should of made a ingame menu

I'd be less opposed to it if it really even worked, and it used to, but nw it seems like I spend as much time fighting with battlelog as I do playing the game.

obvious. but the dice have developed the game for consoles and this are the results D:

I really enjoy Battlelog myself. Means that when loading level/connecting to server, I can easily open a new tab and check news ect.
Personally really prefer a browser module instead of ingame, even more so now that you can change loadout within it.
Of course due to how quickly levels load with Armored Kill there is very little time for that. :)

TF2: 30 seconds to load main menu, 10 seconds to wait for server list to find tons of servers, 30 seconds to join a server (if it has no new mods you already have downloaded)
BF3: no main menu, serverlist is refreshed and finds tons of servers before you even looked at it. and somehow loads the server/map way faster than TF2

The initial load after a "cold boot" of BF3, if you will, takes some time. But after that, you can hop in new servers pretty quickly (<30 seconds), from my experience.

It's useful, stop whining. You can find server, and let it load, and it will switch to game when map is loaded and you can start playing instantly. In meantime you can be here on steamgifts, facebook, youtube or whatever else you want to do. It's also good because you can preview your character over internet, no need to enter game always and check what you unlocked and stuff.

I love looking my stats in an other comp or my mobile, the server browser is so good to view maps of the server (for exemple) and it's nice to see summary every time. So, from my opinion, battlelog isn't so stupid... For single player it suck, i'm agry, but who play BF3 single player?

Battlelog + Origin is the reason why I played BF3 less than 10 hours but MW3 160 hours... and I hate MW3.

Sad story, I hate mw3 and i still scored nearly 600 hours of gameplay. Bf3 is too hard, I play it a bit everyday, but I truly enjoy it. Playing Recon is really fun, because it's hard to snipe, and when you learn, it's pure awesomeness :D
Also playing close quarter maps ain't bad either, it's like CoD but with way better graphics, more features, better players etc..

Well, I gave up BF3 after a month because of the awesome Battlelog. I still regret my pre-order.

I found my time with Battlelog and it's server browser and matchmaking to be far superior to what you get with most games.
Of course there were a few issues to begin with, But as a whole I found it an easy and pleasant experience.
Having everything there and being able to organize the information as I pleased was something I do miss when I play other games.
Sonar on the other hand was the object of my problems.

It's kinda sucky that I have to find a server, enter the game, find out the server isn't good, quit the game, and then find another one. Also, it means I must have internet connection, even to play single player campaign. I'm bummed because I prefer opening it, finding a server, and then if I don't like the server, I can go back to the main menu and find another one in seconds. Anyone else thinks it's stupid?
