I have just noticed a bug, currently on the game Deponia it is priced at 50p for an entry, not the 20p it usually is. This is do to the Daedalic Adventure Bundle which includes Deponia, currently being on sale for $12.49, lower then the price of Deponia on its own, and is normally priced at $49.99. It would be cool if this bug was fixed.

Steam is all messed up on its pricing for this game. I did a search and came up with http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_7_7_ut2_12&term=deponia
It says it was $49.99 but it's on sale @75% off for $12.99. Then you go to the game's page http://store.steampowered.com/app/214340/ and it says that the game is $19.99 and nothing about a sale other than its inclusion in the bundles. It does appear to be incorrectly using the price for the Daedalic Adventure Bundle.

Who gives a fuck ? Points are supposed to be used...

How does that mean they shouldn't be accurate?

because it would take alot of effort from admin to manually change it every time a collection is cheaper than the games it has in it. it's easier and more practical to wait for it to fix itself, which happens a bit after the sale ends.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be a lot of work, or even that it's necessary work. I just mean "the points are free and they're supposed to be used" is a silly response.

Your answer is a lot better.

+1 That was a silly and rude response.

Looks like every individual game in the Daedalic Adventure Bundle suddenly shot up to 50P each--Deponia, Edna and Harvey, Whispering World, etc.

I wonder if this also means that those who create a giveaway now get more cv than usual?

Possibly at first but it should revert back since I believe the site readjusts for price drops when it comes to cv value. The value between the two isn't that great to be a real concern (3.3 vs. 7.5) so it shouldn't really cause a problem overall if it was a permanent thing.

Okay, just asking. In fact, I do intend to create a giveaway for Edna & Harvey, so it's better to ask these things beforehand, as I don't want to get blamed for exploiting a cv bug later on.

This site uses the Steam api in order to determined the P value of each game. Since the damn thing is a mess, the site becomes a victim to it. You will just have to wait it out I'm afraid.

That man is likely working at Valve. It is a horrible way to die by drowning in money.

That's because SG bases its points on US prices. Basing it on every region would just be messy.

hmm, all times it was only 7-10 points. but 40 - it a glitch :D

It happens every time a pack containing a game goes on sale for a lower price than that game itself. It's caused by the Steam API so there's nothing we can do to fix this problem.
