I have a 3.5 yrs old son, who just managed to learn a type of jump that i only dared to learn at about age of 10-11.
My daughter finished reading alone her first book and she is yet to start school.
Also my son loves ANY train - i guess that includes your GA train as well (i can't be sure, because i don't involve them in anything related to the computer, but so far there hasn't been any kind of trains we saw that he didn't love).
So if that doesn't kick your train off, i don't know what will.
Take care!

Life itself, I'd say it is worth celebrating. Better than nothing, for good and for bad.

What I recall from your argument.
A two-year-old's solution to the trolley problem
This is the way a train should be, the two-year-old genius insists.

After nearly 3 years, my son only has ~5 more months of chemo left!
Thanks in advance for the train! :-)

I recently visited a friend I hadn't seen in a long time... I was afraid that we changed and we will have difficulties talking to each other, but it was the other way round and I remembered good old puppy days we spent together :)
Good luck with finding motivation to run the train :)

That's true. And in that sense nostalgia will not be enough to make it in general - our ways separated and it will probably stay this way, as we are much older now, and we have our responsibilities (as fathers & husbands, but also work duties) and differing hobbies (I am a mountain runner and he participates in Mazda MX-5 time-attack trails on loops on specially prepared tracks, mostly on airfields, so we spend our free time and weekends in a completely different way). But it was a nice thing to meet with him and see that despite all that, we still have a connection :)

My brother is marrying next week. Sure, he is isolating himself just before the wedding, there are going to be COVID tests to everybody, virus or no virus. BUT he is pushing forward
Also, I have two five-year old twins, that just yesterday told me they had to go with the car to the next city, since they couldn't use the bike.
Ok, I proudly boasted that more than once I had gone with the bike to the next city.
Their Answer: "Sure, but you were not old like now"
Please kill me :)

I don't have anything as momentous as some of the others here, but I did find a bunch of wild gooseberries in the woods nearby. Enough to make a tart or pie or something. Free food is always worth celebrating if you ask me :)

Does celebrating everyday count? I can't say for others, but there have been times when I look forward to the next day only for it to turn out to be worse. At some point, I just accepted that it's not worth it to look for tomorrow. The present is the only time you can celebrate realistically, until someone designs a time machine. I grow older everyday, and I dont wanna look back at yesterday with regret :)

In a quite neglected planter of succulents a 4ft spiky thing had grown undisturbed. No one knew what it was or how it got there in the first place. The planter had to be replaced but I felt bad ridding of something that made it so well in life while under my care with such mutual obliviousness.
So I planted it in the garden, much to the displeasure of a neighbor who tore it out the next day and threw it against the fence, roots exposed and all. Well I did what I could for you, partner. Life is shit and such, you know?
Utterly ignored for three years, the spiky thing had become a 30ft lemon tree with the most gorgeous, fragrant lemons. It's wild and unpruned with thorns so metal it hurts to look at, but when I do it's always with admiration. I guess it started with an out-the-window badly aimed spat lemon seed or something.
Anyways, I was just trying to say that I bet you're right. I bet your tree appreciates a good thing ♥

Wow! That is really cool. While you couldn't just chomp on a lemon if you were feeling peckish (unless you're into eating lemons raw, that is), you'll be able to make a delicious pitcher of lemonade! :)

All aboard! (additional carts added)
Some keys are old and I hope are not too rusty, just take into consideration.
Help me out guys,
There's a train sitting on tracks, ready to chooch its chooch but unable to for lack of motivation.
Me, a cynic, can't find the reason to motivate it so I'm reaching out to you - which is a good reason to get this train started?
Please suggest happy happenings in your life - you're thinking about being proposed to, your little brother is graduating, your hair is growing back... on your back?
Anything worth celebrating!
The winner with the best suggestion will reap the admiration of all and congratulations galore!
To be concluded on Thursday.
