They should just make a feature that will show you popular topics that may be related to your thread, and then ask you if you're sure you want to create it before reading the others.

I don't think people "hate" the add-on, really, it's that they would appreciate if CG would implement the functions of the add-on into the site directly. I'm one of those. I like the functionality the add-on offers, but I don't have it installed (my case is laziness, but for others it could be more serious reasons like inability to understand how to install it).

I just need one filter to see any Contrubtion, for example. Seeing giveaways only of $100, there is no option to filter like that.

Better idea: Block giveaways that link spam. At least then indie gala would be forced to act like an official organization instead of a spambot
