My gf of 3 years also left me 1 month ago. We were engaged and wanted to move together next year. I was sad at the begining and felt like i want to die, but later it became a lot better. I've realized i finally had more time for myself, movies, games (can you believe i didn't finish any of my 200 Steam games because of her?) , my friends and family. I also felt less tired every day and started thinking wtf i saw in her. After those moments she wasn't so perfect and pretty anymore...i could make at least 10 A4 pages of things i didn't like on her. Those things made me just feeling better and happier, but the best came yesterday. We stayed friends (i always stay a friend with my exes in case if they feel nostalgic and want some bed fun like in good old times xD) and talked about her current boyfriend. He is unemployed, without car and without driving license, he failed his final exams...i meanly laughed inside of my mind and said how sad it is. It made me realize i can do better and how she doesn't deserve me :)
I also started dating a cute asian girl who looks younger, 100x better, is 100x cuter and also have an awesome personality. They say "The best way to get over one girl is to get under another". Try it, it really helps :P

It's been 4 months since I left my gf, and I'm getting better every day. The single life isn't so bad, and I finally got to play games again.

Life goes on, and their are plenty more fish in the ocean. Now pick yourself back up!
