Tool to make train creation easier?

I am sure the information must be somewhere in the forums, but I can't find it, unfortunately.
So I apologise in advance to those that are annoyed by questions that are about stuff that is common knowledge for veterans.

What's the best way to create a train? Are there tools that allow to streamline the process?

here is one. i think there is possibly even one or two more, but i haven't personally used any of them.

idk your train length, but imagine those who make 200+ cart trains ;)
though i don't personally make large ones either, so manually making a 7-15 cart one is nothing imo either xD

Also try Mully's SGLinkies
It adds SG addons registry thread to Discussions dropdown, so you can easily find it later.
