Giveaway is OVER
Solution:
The first puzzle link: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/PYQzSKvS
Okay guys, the first puzzle URL you received contained just 5 characters - P, 8, r, t, and p, which when combined will allow you to access giveaway #1: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/P8rtp. The purpose of this opening puzzle was intended to setup how to answer the rest of the puzzles. It was also numbered 0 in an attempt to separate it from the others as well.
The second puzzle link: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/PYQzSKvS
This one is probably the trickiest one. The 'first character' doesn't refer to the actor/actress, but rather the first letter of the movie title. For example, 'I Am Legend' is simply 'I'. Note the casing in the movie titles - that becomes important later on. Solving all of these you end up with 'kIAzn', which actually goes nowhere if you plug it into the SG giveaway URL.
The third puzzle link: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/ZgZgqZmx
Hopefully now you've caught onto the formula and realized what you need to do here - isolate the letter/number that is the same in each of the pairs; for example, 'Blanket / Hick' = 'k'. Again, note the casing. You should end up with 'k7ASZ'.
The fourth puzzle link: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/4d0Q9N5R
This is a simple conversion from ASCII code to text. The result is 'mzolW'.
The fifth puzzle link: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/Oa3xfzS0
Again, pretty simple. Translated from binary, the code you end up with is '8ed1h'.
The sixth puzzle link: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/RSkOObIU
These are little trivia type questions that are again, only one letter long. The correct answers will have gotten you the code 'QqTjq'. The correct casing is hinted by the questions.
Solving the puzzle
So... by now you should have 5 sets of codes:
They're not valid giveaway codes as they are presented. I hinted at writing them down in a post below because this way you might notice something. So now we have a 5x5 block of characters. If they don't make valid links horizontally... why not try them vertically?

Thanks for playing! Congrats to the winners as well as those who managed to crack this little puzzle!
Original post
So I've been stockpiling some games during the sale and made this set of puzzles for you guys.
BE WARNED: It is DIFFICULT, you will NOT make it to the end, and therefore will not access the giveaways in time before it's over. That's right, I'm evil like that.
However, if you'd like to attempt regardless, start at the link below:

Remember, Steam Gifts giveaway URLs are in this format: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/xxxxx, where x is any combination of lower case & upper case letters and numbers.
Okay... GO!
