So, I don't have room for a PC, or any time for building a PC.
I'm looking for a laptop that includes:
4/8GB memory
2GB ATI / Nvidia (Preferably ATI)
Intel Core i5
Win 7
Storage: 500GB (I don't need more I assume)
Around 2.8 Ghz CPU (Not below 2.7 nor above 2.9)

And what do you think of the Dell XPS 17 ?

Bro. With a budget of $1200, MSI would be my first choice. Here's an idea of what they offer:

Only negative thing is that they endorse Windows 8, but that's pretty much everywhere. Otherwise, go to Lenovo's site and go through their feature-chooser thing until you've constructed a laptop you like.

Yeah I feel like 1200$ budget is good for a Dell or MSI or any of the choices you guys listed. I get to have spare change as well C=

Personally I am not a big fan of gaming laptops anymore, but I used to be. MSI has come out with some nice units, but over all, I still very much prefer Sager. Those things are always built well and usually have good choices available.

Look at this beast: www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_info&model_name=NP9130

Motherfucker is ready for gaming. Plus they have some winter promotion shot going. Read your budget was 1200 which ids why I picked this model. Personally I recommend heavily against seventeen inch motherfucker.

They still let you pick Windows 7 if you are so inclined. Definitely upgrade the thermal compound, diamond is much better than the regular stuff they use.

If in budget, upgrade the wireless card as well. If you can, fully commit to ssd and just buy an external for backup. Or at the very least get an msata drive for the os.

I have an Asus G73JW and so far it's been awesome for gaming...
You probably can get one for lower than 1000$ now (Core i7 1.6-2.93 GHz x 8, 8GB RAM, 460m GTX 1.5 GDDR5 VGA)

The newer version of my laptop the G75 is available now as well but it'll cost around $1400+ :( (google for Asus G75)
But you can get the same specs for around $1000 with this Lenovo Ideapad Y580
Lenovo stuff are rock solid and if you can find a reseller near you that's the best bang for your buck

You might also want to check the gaming laptop lines of Asus, MSi and Samsung..
As for stores check xoticpc and BTOtech

Lol what? You think F3 and NV dont run under windows? that is obviously false. If you meant windows 8 I have heard mixed reports, some say they run fine, some needed to install newest GFWL and some couldn't get it to work http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1423208-2-windows-8-fixes-one-for-people-who-are-installing-the-game-for-the-first-time-and-one-for-people-upgrading-to-windows-8/
I have a Dell XPS 15-L502X got it from Dell outlet website and it's been pretty good but the plug falls out pretty easily, sometimes when the laptop is not even being touched, think the 17 has the same issue, and I wouldn't but another one unless they've fixed it as it can be quite annoying.

F3/FNV runs on Win8 exactly like on Win7 - meaning there might be some problems, but it will run if you can use Google.
