Firstly, what game could you suggest for 15$ or less on Steam? I want something more active than puzzle solving. Second, scout shoes: ess. accesories vs ball-kicking boots vs all-stars vs long fall loafers. Which do you prefer?

I suggest you check out current bundles:

They give you the most games for your money.
If you like action and RPG, I suggest The Witcher or Fable: TLC
