I won Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but it was upgraded to the Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics. I forget why, but I think if you had any one of the games in the bundle, they automatically upgraded you.

Anyway this can be fixed, so it no longer shows I have a key I have not redeemed?

It's a weird thing with these DLC because their store pages are set up as if they where games when they are infact DLC so nothing changed with it it's just that SGTools thinks it's a seperate game but it's not and never was. You'd need to send them a message somehow don't know how to do that tho :)

As you noted, it's been that way for a good while now. Staff- as with SGT- has long been aware of those games. So no need to poke them on it.

Our own recollections aside, this can be supported by the fact that the Collection framework was introduced in June 2010, while Sonic 2 didn't release to Steam until Jan 2011. Though, and in support for the OP's confusion on the matter, it's worth noting that the "Hub" format didn't get established until 2016, and the Megadrive and Genesis collections weren't combined until 2018.

This is to say, the format for the Classics Collection has changed on multiple occasions, but the listing for Sonic was never disassociated with the Classics Collection label [meaning, it would have always been updated in its associations along with any framework updates to the Classic Collections].

Just do an "Other" ticket for general communications that don't fit in any other category listing, or if you're in doubt (as staff is quite lenient on mis-sorted tickets). In fact, the only issue where categorization really matters is a reroll request, as the "Request New Winner" label is actually required by the reroll system for it to initiate a reroll (this meaning you'd still need to make a RNW ticket in addition to any other ticket, if you were to make a non-RNW ticket first).

Ah. Well, there's multiple ways to contact Knsys (he's a rather genial person, so he doesn't make it hard to get a hold of him), but the most straightforward way is to just reply to the official SGTools thread here on Steamgifts.
