Is IGN Prime worth it?

I got Prime a couple of months ago, a year's subscription. They had an Indie Game Month where they gave out ~about six games. They also give out at least one indie game a month, usually on Steam...along with beta keys for a ton of other random games that aren't really worth it. You also get a code that gives you a permenant 15% off on Gamersgate purchases, some of which are Steamworks. When they have a sale, adding your 15% discount on top of it usually means you get the game cheaper than you would have on Steam, even with Steam's crazy deals. And once you put the Gamersgate key in, you get the discount regardless of whether or not you still have a Prime subscription.

So...indie game every month, along with 15% off on Gamersgate is pretty worth it, in my opinion.

theres still King Arthur keys too. I purchased 1 year a week or 2 ago, havnt had anything new available since then though :/

If you buy Dungeon Defenders from Steam, you get the Portal gun, and four TF2 'pets.'

FYI you may stay tune on the developers Twitter account because the devs are giving away Dungeon Defenders and many other games keys as part of #BecauseWeMay sale :) I got one DD yesterday.

Fyi if anyone know that the IGN DD definately does NOT get the TF2 pets and portal gun i think that'll sway my vote

I think its worth it just for the GG discount

I just did the trial, got my GG discount code, and moved on. it's not worth what you pay for it, I think, but the discount is for life so you might as well...

IGN Prime gave away plenty of keys. Some of these still may apply (these are the ones I remember):

King Arthur, Dungeon Defenders, Rochard, and there was also a limited key giveaway of Skydrift, 1000 keys. Not available anymore. Dungeon Defenders is going to be a lot cheaper for the summer sales, which start around the start of august. If you can wait 2 months, sure. But IGN prime may give away more keys. :) Do however you wish to do.
