So Steam Marketplace killed my Killstreak Weapon (TF2)

So I wanted to sell my Strange Killstreak Backburner.

I wanted 5 dollars for it as the one guy selling his for 21USD on 250 kills +-

I then desicided to remove it adn then reput it up for more than the 5 i put like 12$.. trying my luck kinda thing.

when i removed it ...it freaking reset the name and killstreak!!

WTF

now i must get 166 kills all over again.. now luck might have it i cant run TF2 at the moment (f knows why im busy verifying cache atm)

has this happened to you?

I think that's supposed to happen.
Strange weapons lose their recorded kills whenever they leave an inventory.

so its pointless for ANYone to buy Killstreak weapons with a set amount of kills on it?

So everyone selling those weapons at HIGH price is ripping the other ppl off. i didnt know that. or am i little wrong?

The higher valued weapons might have additional strange parts that increase the value, I don't think it's because of the amount of kills it has on it.

I know what you refering to tho. its expensive to buy those parts i got a professional kit but the cost to get the parts ... i dont know if its worth it to make a few extra cents or a dollar extra

Kills on weapons aren't worth anything unless its something like Hale's own. And those are giftwrapped traded afaik
