I'm playing Ori right now. It's totally worth every single penny.

I've played Valkyria Chronicles and recommend it. 8.5/10.

The (whole) Banner Saga

I've played a few games on that list (Xcom 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Pillars of Eternity, Ori and the Blind Forest, NieR: Automata, Fahrenheit, Bayonetta, Age of Wonders 3), and out of those, I would recommend the following most highly:

Pillars of Eternity
Ori and the Blind Forest
Age of Wonders 3

Out of the lot, only Valkyria Chronicles had me just throw up my arms and say "nope, not going to play this garbage anymore". Actual gameplay was not too bad, but the writing, oh good grief, the writing in Valkyria Chronicles made me cringe, it was so bad. It's probably the only game I've dropped simply due to how atrocious the writing was.

2. Assassin's Creed Odyssey
3. Pillars of Eternity

Ok, all of them except Assassin's Creed Odyssey

That's a lot of games worth playing (also some anime, but maybe you enjoy this stuff), and genre diversity is too considerable to actually compare them. Still, the one that's impressed me the most was definitely Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
