Ubisoft games have a big discount, revenge for Division 2 (for exclusivity with Epic)?

it makes me suppose that after the last FarCry, there will be no more Ubisoft games on Steam :(

Division 2 was always going to be on the Ubi store. You pretty much are going to need Uplay like in all Ubisoft games no matter what platform you get it off of.

I don't think Valve can make discounts on his own. He has to talk to the publishers first

English not my first language. To be fair, I wonder how good you are with a second language :)

Your English didn't strike me as off at all, and I didn't mean to belittle you, apologies if I came off that way. I was legitimately amused by you describing a corporation as a "he" and assumed you did it on purpose as a joke. For the record, English is also not my first language, so I get where you are coming from ;)

And from what I'm seeing, most of those discounts aren't much bigger than usual during a sale event

Dude, you couldn't be far more away from the truth. Ubisoft dropped the Steam Store for The Division 2 since that Franchise from Ubisoft is one of the their best selling one currently and Ubisoft just doesn't want to see Valve getting a cut from it during the first year. I am 100% sure that the Game will launch in 2020 too on Steam, even also the PR Folks over at Ubisoft will repeat a million times that it won't.

If Ubisoft would have dropped the Steam Store in general it would have happen to other Games from them too but that's not the case.

Look it up. Games like Far Cry New Dawn, Anno 1800,...still launching on Steam and others still have a Store Front on Steam too (Skull & Bones,...)

I'm not so sure, btw The Division 2 also had a Steamstore Page not so long ago. I would make a bet that the next Ubi-Titles gonna move to Epic too

Steam Store Page: Yes, Preorder Option: Never.

As already mentioned, those other Games are actually Preorder-able on Steam. If Ubisoft would have dropped Steam totally you wouldn't see any of their newer Games on the Store Front at all. Specially considering that Anno 1800 is launching after The Division 2.

Metro Exodus had a preorder Option aswell, also TWD The Final Season, sure everyone who preordered will get the game, but no one else. I´m just wondering why they should move to Epic with only some parts of their library. Don´t get me wrong I would love to see them on steam, but Ubi already made this decision for Division 2, doesn´t make much sense to launch some titles only on a Special Plattform and others not. And still it´s some Kind of adversment to let those games until the last Minute on the steamstore and moving in the last second like DeepSilver did Just saying
edit: just to clarify: I also belive that those games will be published on steam ….. sometimes in 2020, but I would l love to see that you´re right

Valve cant set the prices for games of another publisher, discounts, and regional prizes are set by the publishers, recently i noticed that BUGisoft rise the base prices of South Park: The Fractured But Whole in several regions (in mine they raise the base price from 659.99 ARS to 2299 ARS more than 300%). Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Ultimate Edition 1799 ARS have a cheaper base price than this game.
