Personally I think it's fine as it is. I don't think every puzzle on SG needs to be super difficult. It's nice to have a wide range of difficulties so people can increase their puzzling abilities. If every puzzle is super hard you're just going to discourage new members from learning how to do the puzzles.

It seems that most of the SG population is divided into those who hate anything but minimal puzzles and those who'd be willing to solve quantum physics to get an answer.
