Last chance to break things [puzzle] [Ended]

Alright let's get dowhttp://www.steamgifts.com/forum/editn to it: The rules are simple. Solve this wee riddle and the subsequent itstoohard, and you get a straight shot at the prize.
There are two parts, The Source and A Moot Point.

The Source is much easier than it seems...although it doesn't seem like much.

The real challenge is A Moot Point. This riddle consists of an entire hint, answer, and philosophical discussion wrapped into one. I'll give you a nudge in the right direction: Take every character seriously.

And that's it! Good luck!

PART 1: The Source

"There's nothing here!"

PART 2: A Moot Point

Don't be fooled, this riddle isn't easy
Io's the word; not the cow, silly
Arms apart now, spread those wings
Got to shake them, poor things
Oh, sky's too cloudy to fly is it?
No waking from this nightmarish hit
Another way around is the way to go
Lost? Will Swedish help, jo?

Hint: Spaces and punctuation are included.
Hint 2: Top left to bottom right.

Look closely; there should be a hint within the riddle.

Personally I think it's fine as it is. I don't think every puzzle on SG needs to be super difficult. It's nice to have a wide range of difficulties so people can increase their puzzling abilities. If every puzzle is super hard you're just going to discourage new members from learning how to do the puzzles.

It seems that most of the SG population is divided into those who hate anything but minimal puzzles and those who'd be willing to solve quantum physics to get an answer.

I made an adjustment to try and bridge that gap

Maybe it's because new people here (like me) don't really know what they can expect to be involved in a puzzle.
At the example, I solved 2 puzzles, got weird codes and didn't knew what to do with them, only later found out about itstoohard website :O

Anyway, sooner or later I hope I'll figure out what part 2 is about, so thanks for puzzle :)

Well I can't speak for everyone here, but usually the first things to look for are giveaway codes, itstoohard links, and source links. There've been instances of decimal conversion too.

The first part was easy, aand I found the hint for the second part. But I just can't seem to find the phrase.

EDIT: Huh. I seem to have found it. However, as a native speaker, I can tell you that that is no proper sentance really, if you were aiming for that. The first word is usually only used in spoken language and the second is a noun. THhis might be intentional though ^^
