[Free] H1Z1 is now F2P on Steam

At least it finally went F2P which it originally was going to be a F2P game, back when it was the H1Z1 survival game... mainly early access was just so people that wanted to play it right away would pay then get bonuses when it released.

But I guess they probably had to make it F2P to get more people to play it, since it wasn't really the greatest game and there is other paid games that are better or even free games for that matter like fortnite.

Oh boy, good thing getting ganked by squads of mainland "asians" wearing red shirts isn't my thing.

people should just calm the fuck down. yes, you maybe paid something for the Early Access version. well, it was an EA version. that means, it is subject to change. pricing is also subject to change. you bought an unfinished product in active development. this is what you have to expect. the game was even meant to be f2p in the first place. but even if it hadn't been, you still would have to expect anything with an EA game.

It feels like a big scum. Pubg can't stop hackers and it cost 20€. If you want to scum in this game you just to have to create a new account. How stupid is this? I have bought the game to the full price and now recives the in-game pack that will be cost a few cents if I sell it and I would never use it, because it shows that i was an idiot who bought the game.

I feel quite cheated, since I have been semi-postponing a trade on my monthly copy, and now it's more or less worth almost nothing, right? Does the ''paid'' key give you any worthwhile bonuses?

So, when a few weeks ago it was super cheap + everyone got coupon for the game was nothing else, but a last cashgrab by the developers. insert slow clapping gif here

I have bunch of unlocked H1Z1 cases in my Steam inventory but have no idea how to open them. Couldn't see any case menu in-game. WELP

Atleast i didn't have to buy it to see what the fuss is about , my verdict is this game blows , crap gameplay+ crap graphics that I have seen before in other betas , nothing new here...

So wait... They say they bring price up, then make it free and only bonus original buyers get are crates. Mmm, economics. Make money from old and new players. Yiee boii.

Just to advise everyone; if you have the full licence but never logged in before, you won't automatically receive the appreciation pack - but you're still eligible. Once you've logged in and created your account, you will need to raise a support ticket on their website.

Not that it's really worth doing, since the crates and skins aren't marketable, such a poor effort at compensation after such underhanded behaviour from the devs...

Honestly, even if liking the idea of the game I don't feel like playing it.
Even more honestly, after they announced the game as free to play, then buy to play and then splitted the game in two separate copies to sell I don't feel like playing it only now that they are trying to raise it from the grave. Like, not at all.
