I dropped the user voting system from SteamGameSales, and it now has an interesting algorithm to automatically determine the best sales. Let me know what you think, it should help to bring some of the better sales up to the top.

This is really cool actually, I like it. I haven't used that site before, but I will now.

I don't know if this would work (or if its already implemented), but it'd be cool to have a feature that filters dlc.

Well it would be nice to know the algorithm behind it, but I guess it is... magic! :p

In my opinion it should sort more by highest discount or check its discount history. Mount & Blade Collection 50% off isn't a good deal, same L.A. Noire.

  1. Left 4 Dead 2 75% $4.99 USD
  2. Portal 2 75% $4.99 USD
  3. Orcs Must Die! 2
  4. Mount & Blade Collection 50% $27.48 USD
  5. Magicka 75% $2.49 USD
  6. LA Noire

Is SGS broken? I tried substituting the SGS URL for the store.steampowered.com URL, but it keeps giving me this error message:

"Strict Standards: Only variables should be passed by reference in /home/sales/public_html/redirect_steam.php on line 9

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/sales/public_html/redirect_steam.php:9) in /home/sales/includes/classes/functions.php on line 46"

In fact, when I clicked on the example URLs on the history page it gave me the exact same error message. I even tried it with Don't Starve to make sure it wasn't just an inactive game causing the problem. Any help?

Thanks, that's been driving me nuts for a while now and I've been meaning to say something.

What is wrong with SGS? Each click on the site just makes it reload. Tryed from different browsers, site either non-responsive, either reloads each time I'm trying to choose something.
