So, everywhere I look, when I find comparisons between PC and Consoles versions of games, all I can find is the PC version on the highest setting. Is there a website that compares all setting types of games to their console equivalents? I wanna know because I recently bought a gaming PC, and while I'm sure I made a good deal, I want to just make sure. Thanks for anyone who can find something like this.

Well I would only get a console if my budget is really tight or there are some exclusives I want to play

If you list your specs we could give you an idea of what you could run, sorry I can't think of something like what you mean other then looking up a specific graphics card benchmark :)

You could totally beat consoles with that laptop! You picked a great one :) Even if you only did high graphics (better than consoles) you could have very high frames in comparison (depending what game it is). It seems many games run on your laptop lowest 30 fps on high-maxed settings. May I ask how much you paid?

I can't remember the exact price, but it's something around $1100. I wanted to know because I can't seem to get bioshock infinite to get 60 frames on ultra, and I turned it down to very high, and while that worked, I wanted to make sure it was still better than consoles.

Most of PS3/XBox360 games run on 720p, and those running on 1080p, do it with 30 or less fps. Look at Battlefield 3 for example! In consoles, it runs on a 720p resolution, at around 30fps (more or less). With the latest games for this generation, the fps are even lower. They can barely run MGS Ground Zeroes on 720p at 25fps. Now, speaking about PS4 and XBox One, well, that's a bit more difficult, since they haven't reached its max potential yet, correct me if I'm wrong. One last thing, when gaming on a PC, some games run better on a NVidia video card than they do on an AMD video card, and viceversa. Don't ask me why, because it's easy to figure it out.

AMD also tends to not run at all until the next patch.

Much more powerful CPU with a slightly weaker GPU compared to a PS4. You can't compare specs though, the consoles have different memory architectures and don't have to go through D3D.
