I recently created a thread to address something bugging me about Sniper Elite 3 - they don't put patch notes under the games' "News" section, meaning that when you suddenly see a big update downloading (like today), you have to first find the game in your library, and go to the games' "Community Hub" from there, then go to its' "Discussions" to find the patch notes. This is round-about and pointlessly difficult, especially since Steam gives you a button that says "View News" right there on your "Downloads" page. So, I made a thread to ask Rebellion to also post patch notes to the games' "News" section, as many other games already do.

Then, I got the idea of making this thread, to address any / all games where there's an issue concerning patch notes - including games that don't even bother putting out patch notes for updates. So, here it is. I will post links to discussion threads where I ask for patch notes / for them to be posted under a games' "News" section here, so people can post a +1 to signify their agreement with the sentiment "we want full / clear patch notes in this games' "News".

If you ever run into a game that has no patch notes when you click "View News", please go to the games' "Discussions" and check if there's patch notes posted there, then let me know about it in the thread. I will create a new discussion asking for patch notes, or if the game has no patch notes, askg to have full and clear patch notes put under "News" (if you've not already done so), and update the thread with a link to said discussion thread, accordingly. Please make this easy for me, and provide a URL (plain text would be easiest) to the games' discussions, or the thread you created.
