Off topic wireless xbox controller question

if you dont have a receiver how do you expect it to connect?

You need the receiver. That hasn't changed.

I use mine with this and it works fine. You need a pc gaming receiver for the Xbox 360 version of the wireless controller. You can also just get a controller made for the pc.

... how could you possibly not need the receiver? You have to connect it to something... PCs don`t have anything that could be used for receiving pad signal... I think :D

Yeah I use my wireless Xbox 360 controller on my pc to play steam games, its really easy. yeah, I'm pretty sure you need a receiver for the wireless version. Though if its the wired version, then......

I used to wire in my PS3 control with Motionjoy, but that driver package is way to shady. Now I'm looking for a cheap bluetooth adapter to hack to route the control instead :P

u need the receiver... only the charging cable isnt working
