Hey guys! I won Portal 2 yesterday right here http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/IpMgt/portal-2/page/7. I recived key on my e-mail but I can't add it to my account at all. Steam asks me to run Portal 2 on my PS3 first and then synch PSN acc with steam acc. Finally it will be possible to use this key. Unfortunatly I have no idea how to run Portal 2 on my PS3 cause i don't have it... Can someone help because maker of this giveaway hasn't answer my question yet? I will also try contact with him on steam...

You redeem the code on your PS3 because Steam uses Steamworks, then to my belief it should be avaliable on your computer :|

Each copy of the PS3 version of Portal 2 comes with its own Steam key. I guarantee that's the one he sent you. Does that mean you need a PS3 copy of the game to register the Steam version?

I don't know how to redeem this code on PS3. It is too long to use in PS store.

You need to rent or ask a friend for the PS3 version of Portal 2. Then it'll register to your steam account. Valve probably set it up this way to disable sharing keys...

Now that I mentioned it, is this even allowed?
