Question about CV

So, i just had a giveaway finished, and in my profile my CV increased, but when i try to enter a CV giveaway, it still uses the old number. Do i need to have the required CV when the giveaway is created? Or do i just need to wait?

What should resyncing do? CV has nothing to do with your Steam account...

I don't know. My frame of mind was that it may update his info. I figured it's better than suggesting nothing.
