Firstly, let me point out that I am not trying to commit piracy or anything like that.

I live in a country where the guide will take a month to get to me if I order it now. That being said the game comes out this Friday...

Id really like to play this game using the guide so that the side quests etc are easier to find.

If any of you would be willing to purchase the guide and scan it in and mail it to me and then burn the physical copy of the guide just name your price (obviously nothing too ridiculous) and contact me on steam.

If this still would be considered illegal please post below and ill remove the post.

Thanks

Can't you just google guides on the net, not as cohesive, but they work just the same.

According to the site im using the guide is slightly more expensive but the shipping is included in the cost. Maybe around 50 dollars total. Id obviously pay more than that.

Hah, Borderlands 2 comes out tomorrow for us 'Mericans.

But I don't know how to help you, those guides are shit anyway.

I'm pretty sure you can get a digital copy from Steam.

if you need guides to play games you should have your pc confiscated. think for yourself, explore and most importantly enjoy the game without spoiling it for yourself.

Does Borderlands really need a guide? It's not a game with tons of secrets or min-max stats to worry about. It's random loot drops and re-spec skill trees...

And I really hope you dont need help with Borderlands' missions...

Why not just wait until it comes out and then find a digital copy from "somewhere".

For the the people with this attitude "Guides are for pussies.", Im not resorting to the guide because im an imbecile and need someone to hold my hand through out the game. I want to make sure that I have some form of quest list so that I can make sure im enjoying everything the game has to offer. Ive searched for a quest list or side quest list but obviously for those of us who aren't torrenting the game now the game isnt available to have a quest list made....

If all else fails, watch this space

They have the first Borderlands in an electronic version, and chances are the second may be published once the game is released.

I assume they sell internationally.

Back in the day we'd have every information we wanted on cheapo gaming magazines with all the tips and stuff. Now, everything's available for free on the internet, a quick search may result in more information than 10 magazines or so.

And still people buy these guides? Pfft, use google, it's free and you'll find way more stuff.

Depends if people collect the guides, especially special/limited editions :)

I remember the old Games Master magazine, to name but one :3

Honestly, with how people are most everything will be on the Wiki, or internet in general, within a few days of the game's release.

Thats what I was thinking... One benefit of it being released in America before its released here...

One "downside"(I guess?) of the Internet, purchased strategy guides have been rendered more or less useless.

The wiki might not be as well made as a brady guide and will need some time to be fleshed out byt the community, but it is always a good addition.

Did you manage to get hold of a copy?

If you're still looking, it's now available on Steam (well, it is in my region anyway...)
