Putting Civ 5 and Mafia 2 on Blacklist for a while.

Yes, I know that this has probably been posted a few times, but I think that given that these keys are free and can be acquired as many times as a person wanted (due to fake voting accounts), these keys should probably be blocked until the Golden Joystick awards are over.

This. Personally I already bought Civ 5 ( plus gold upgrade ) a long while back. Did not have Mafia 2, but now I do thanks to it. No need for me to make more accounts either since those I know interested in either game either have them or going to due to the free key thing GMG is doing.

( actually, I think almost everyone I know has Civ5. I can easily be wrong though. )

Since it is already marked.. what is the point now? Besides that, if you have the games already, its easy to filter them out.

Well, some people are having trouble getting them. Errors with voting, errors with GMG registration...not to mention it's been marked as bundled.

Putting something on the blacklist temporarily doesn't make any sense. People will just hoard them until it's over.

Don't see them since I own them already for quite some time :p
And my Mafia II from Golden Joystick key went to my brother who was more than happy with it ;-)

Already on the Bundle List so no harm in leaving it as-is. They all have entries as well so lots of people must still want em :)

I am actually surprised that they didn't think of something to prevent creating fake accounts, like only 1 week or older accounts to be eligible to redeem free game.

And how would people that saw the giveaway in the last few day get their keys?

There was this fairy solitaire giveaway a while ago, they handled the matter a lot better - you needed to sign with your steam acc and have some value on it, so that fake accounts are kept to minimum.
