My first game on steam was the last remnant, on march 31 2009
I bought it in a store without knowing about steam..
years later i got my second game on steam (about 2012 I began to actively use steam)

Bump, and thank you. First game I got on Steam was Portal, back when they were giving it for free on 2011. First game I bought on Steam was Alpha Protocol a couple of days later, since it was down to €2. Excellent purchase.

Happy Anniversary! 13 year Vet myself. HL2 was my first steam activation. :)

My first three games on Steam were all gifts. The very first one was Fallout: New Vegas (in 2011), then in 2013 I got Skyrim and Dead Island Riptide. In late 2013 I also made my first own purchase on Steam during the sale, I bought Just Cause 2, The Witcher 1 + 2, Metro 2033, GTA IV, Supreme Commander 2 and Mass Effect 1 + 2. Except for Mass Effect 1+2 which I haven't played yet, Supreme Commander 2 is the only of those games I haven't finished yet. Good game, but I ended up playing skirmishes instead of the campaign. Have to play the campaign some day, as well as the Mass Effect games!

Thanks for the giveaways (two of them are really high up on my wishlist), and have a bump :)

my first game was not bought on steam ;P I owned half life before so i could play cs and therefore I had hl+all the mods after steam was introduced... that was over 14 years ago... getting old...... getting old.....
