I thiiiiiiiiiink my first game was the first Portal game. I remember amassing a few free games first. Then I was introduced to bundles... then I started buying all the big titles on Steam. The rest is history.

I was curios what my first game was, which I bought there. It was the "Valve Pack" at a Winter Sale for 45 bucks (Winter 2013).

My first game was Magic 2013. A buddy really was trying to get me into magic and thought a video gamed version of it would seal the deal. Good times. Happy 10 years! :)

congrats on the 10 years!! my first game i bought on steam was cs:go, but the first one i actually played on steam was The Binding of Isaac. Bump

Oh gosh, 10 years... I stayed away from steam for a long time, since they are technically licenses for the game and no physical media was scary. Got Civ. 5 for free, and then a steam sale hit about 4 years ago, and the rest is history. Now I've got a 4 tb HDD with my most liked games, and a legacy steam application in permanent offline mode in case of the worst.

Congrats on the almost 10 years of service! Even though 2013+10 is supposed to be 2023, in fact you actually registered in 2008!

Congrats on the decennial! I'm already a teen on Steam and will be hitting 14 in a few months myself. First game I activated was Half-Life Platinum Pack (the CD retail key of the first Half-Life I bought back when it came out) in 2004, but I didn't actually make a purchase on Steam itself until 2008, which was Audiosurf :)
