Puzzled [Edited, giveaway ending soon]

I have been enjoying these puzzle giveaways so much that I decided to try my hand at creating one.

Please do not share answers, cheat, etc.
The giveaway will end Sunday evening, March 10th.

UPDATE

Sorry I have been missing in action as the last few days have been crazy for me. The giveaway ends in an hour! Here's some quick hints to some of the harder questions.

Q6 - I figured this one would be tough for many people, although I have yet to read any comments about its difficulty. The picture is from an album cover of a band that got their start in the 90's. There were only so many bands that were huge back then with a female bass player.

Q7 - I bet Aesop would have something to say about that goose.

Q8 - Music is often considered the universal language. The answer to the question is already spelled out for you if you know where to look.

Only Q7 left. Got some of the questions right away, a couple required some thinking and a few some use of Google.

these puzzles are so bad....imiadtelly as i see a question, at least dozen of possible answers come upo to my mind, but as soon as i see 30 sec cooldown, i close it and go play some games...
